Assistant Airport Manager

Job Summary:

The assistant airport manager is responsible for many operational aspects of the airport. The assistant manager will report to the District/Airport Manager. 

General Overview
Job Title: Assistant Airport Manager
Employment Type: Part-time, W-2 / averages 20-30 hours per week with seasonal adjustments.
Salary: $25-$33 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Duties/Responsibilities:

1) Day to day operations of the airport. 

2) Oversee maintenance, contractors, volunteers related to airport operations.

3) Coordinates inspections and government compliance regulations.

4) Work with county on noise abatement and other operational compliant regulations.

5) Provides input to Airport Report provided to CPAD board monthly.

6) Perform office related tasks using productivity tools such as Microsoft 365, Google Drive.

7) Other duties as needed to support safe airport operations.

Required Qualifications:

Valid CA drivers license

Bondable

 

Desirable Qualifications:

1 year experience airport operations

FAA pilot license
